ACE was one of the founding members of ELSA, and has won both the league (2000) and the cup (2001). In recent times under coaches Paul Wilson and Dary Milani, ACE has always been there or there abouts without actually getting their hands on any more silverware. They came closest in 2003 when ACE was the only team to truly give Aspect a run for their money, even going ahead 1-0 in the cup final before succumbing 3-1.

Since 2005, many teachers and students have moved down to a new campus in the city. Nevertheless, ACE continues to be a core member of the ELSA fraternity and knows a return to the glory days is only around the corner.

Finally, who says football's just a man's game? ACE has been at the forefront when it comes to giving ELSA a woman's touch, and the cup win of 2001 came under a female coach, Kirsten Pike. ACE has also encouraged female students to play in their teams, one of whom became the first, and so far only, female scorer in the competition during the 2004 season.
